Here’s the deal, though: writing for Voob isn’t a quick copy-and-paste gig. We care about quality. We’ll work with you, challenge you, and help polish your piece until it’s the best it can be. Our editors will give you feedback (sometimes brutally honest but always constructive), and you’ll grow as a writer along the way.

We generally prefer original content—stuff you haven’t published anywhere else. But sometimes, if your piece is just that good, we’ll consider cross-posting with a link back to your original (with your permission, of course).

What We Publish

Articles typically run 600–2,500 words (average: 1,500).

How to Submit (and What Happens Next)

We prefer Google Docs for easy feedback. Markdown or plaintext works too. Please avoid ZIP files unless an editor specifically asks.

Here’s what will happen after you hit Send:

An editor reviews your submission for fit.
If it’s promising, our team discusses it during our weekly review.
You’ll get feedback (we rarely accept an article on the first try, but if we like your idea, we’ll work with you).
You revise and send it back.
If we accept, an editor will guide you through fine-tuning structure, clarity, and style.
